Have you ever eaten a meal in a restaurant and loved it so much that you wanted to make it at home? That's the way I feel about bath and body products. I was inspired to make soap because I love the process of developing a formula that performs well, is luxurious to use, and smells great. Yeah, I know this may be a little geeky, but I'm a pharmacist by profession, so it's natural!
When I first discovered solid shampoo bars, the challenge was on! I spent a couple years learning about the chemistry of surfactants and developing a formula that works for a wide range of hair types. (Much trial and error) In addition, as more and better ingredients have become available, I have modified the formula to focus on ingredients that are high-performing, biodegradable and earth-friendly. I now focus on ingredients that are renewable, sustainable, and responsible.
Plastic- free packaging is used at every opportunity.
